Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
   Welcome to SANA Psychiatric Associates. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and website located at www.sanapsychiatric.com By accessing our services or Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
2. Services Provided
   SANA Psychiatric Associates offers comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluations, medication management, Spravato, TMS Therapy and therapeutic interventions for various mental health conditions. Services are subject to availability and provided in accordance with applicable federal and Texas state laws and regulations.
3. Patient Responsibilities
   Patients are required to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current medical and personal information.
• Comply with prescribed treatment plans.
• Communicate promptly regarding changes in health status or personal information.
• Abide by the policies and procedures outlined herein.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

• Scheduling: Appointments can be scheduled via our patient portal or by contacting our office directly.
• Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide timely notice may result in a cancellation fee.
• No-Show Policy: Patients who fail to attend scheduled appointments without notice may be subject to dismissal from the practice.

5. Payment Terms

• Billing: Payment for services is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Insurance: We accept select insurance plans. Patients are responsible for understanding their coverage and any unpaid balances.
• Late Payments: Unpaid balances may result in additional fees or collection actions.

6. Telehealth Services
   By utilizing our telehealth services, you consent to receive care via electronic communications. Patients are responsible for ensuring the confidentiality and security of their environment during sessions. We comply with federal and Texas laws governing telemedicine.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
   We adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other applicable privacy laws. Our data practices are detailed in our Notice of Privacy Practices. Unauthorized use or disclosure of personal health information is strictly prohibited.
8. Intellectual Property
   All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the exclusive property of SANA Psychiatric Associates and is protected by intellectual property laws. No content may be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, SANA Psychiatric Associates disclaims all liability for damages arising from or related to your use of our services or Site. This limitation applies to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits or data.
10. Dispute Resolution
    Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. By agreeing to this provision, you waive the right to a trial by jury or participation in a class action.
11. Governing Law
    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Modifications to Terms
    We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Site with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination of Services
    We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services to any patient for violation of these Terms or for behavior detrimental to the practice.
